Check out the FREE AT&T IoT Hackathon!

If you’re a developer, designer, project manager, or just interested in tech, register for the third annual AT&T IoT Civic Hackathon on April 20 and 21 in Fishers!

The Hackathon is centered around public safety. Attendees will help create apps and hardware solutions for first responders. The judging will be based on articulation, originality, creativity, implementation, and applicability to public safety theme.

Shark Tank returns to zWORKS

It’s back. zWORKS is partnering with Zionsville Community High School for the second annual Shark Tank.

ZCHS students with the Zionsville Business Professionals of America will pitch their business ideas to zWORKS member “sharks.” Bring the whole family and invite friends to come watch . . . there will be pizza!

Pitches will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 5 at zWORKS (85 E. Cedar St.) and last for an hour. zW member judges include Andy Clark (250ok), Matt Prasek (Safekeeping), Megan Glover (120WaterAudit), Jacob Schpok (Elevate Ventures), and Paul McCoy (ActionCoach).

Tour the new space during our Happy Hour, Feb. 15

Join our Happy Hour Dusty Boots Tour and check out the new space just a hop, skip and a jump south of us! Members and friends are welcome. Meet at zWORKS on Thursday, Feb. 15 and we’ll head over about 5:30 p.m.

Ryan Woodall Photography and Stephanie & Nicole Photography will be taking complimentary headshots at the zWORKS hub from 5 to 7 p.m.

1 Million Cups: Nov. 8

On November 8th, zWORKS hosted 1 Million Cups – a national program created by the Kauffman Foundation to educate, connect and engage local entrepreneurs. 1MC has chapters in over 140 cities and our local Indy chapter launched in April 2017. They usually meet on Wednesday mornings at the SpeakEasy in BroadRipple every Wednesday at 8am, but occasionally take field trips like the one to zWORKS.
