JASPER, Ind. – Last night, Southwest Indiana showcased entrepreneurs and startups across the state through the second annual Dubois County Pitch Competition at Brew in Jasper, Ind.

Individuals and teams shared their business, innovation, or entrepreneurial idea before a panel of judges in hopes of earning prize money to invest in their startup. The competition allowed 12 entrepreneurs four minutes to pitch their idea and two minutes to answer questions. Judges scored companies based on team, market fit, product/solution, customer traction or roadmap and their overall presentations. Judges included Jason Salstrom, Director of Purdue Foundry at Westgate; Brenda Stallings, CEO at Matrix Integration; and Katie Birge, Executive Director at Launch Indy.
